About Underdog
Every Legend
Starts Somewhere
This gym wasn't built on hype. It was built on fifty-seven years of early mornings, split knuckles, and people who refused to quit on themselves.

Our Story
Built By The People Who Showed Up

1969
The Back Room
This building was a warehouse nobody wanted. A handful of amateur fighters turned one back room into a makeshift ring because the closest real gym was an hour's drive and didn't want them anyway. No sign on the door — word got around the way it always does in this sport.
The Standard Holds
The neighborhood changed, the equipment improved, the walls got a coat of paint. What never changed was the standard. Every coach who's run this gym trained here first — every discipline we added, from boxing to BJJ, got folded in because members asked for it, not because a franchise told us to.
Today
Marcus Stanley's Floor
Led by Marcus Stanley, thirty-five years in boxing and two decades on this gym's floor before ever taking the head coach title. Over 500 athletes have trained here — some chasing a title, most just chasing a better version of themselves. The building's older, the gloves have changed, the reason people walk through that door hasn't.
